New Features of Windows 8.1 Microsoft New Operating System

We have already seen Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 8. It brings a modern computing experience, latest technology for professionals and for normal people who like to stay connected to their colleagues and friends from anywhere, anytime. Windows 8.1 just go much beyond with the same vision and gives users much more flexibility, security and as well as better computing.
We are going to talk about few updated features of windows 8.1 as stated below
Wi Fi Printer
Direct Print option to a Wi-Fi Printing
Windows 8.1 allows you to connect to Wi-Fi Direct printers without adding additional drivers or software. It creates a peer-to-peer network between your device and the printer. So that you can easily search the printer through your Wi-Fi network and go for print out.

Work folder is basically a mode of cloud computing. Many of us are using Dropbox, Skydrive etc for keeping our documents safe and synchronization. In Windows 8.1 Work Folders allows to the users to sync data to their device from their user folder located in the corporation’s data center. Files which created locally will sync back to the file server in the corporate environment.

Microsoft already released their free antivirus named Microsoft Security Essential. Later they changed the name to Windows Defender. Here it is more powerful, check each and every data and also check all the extensions through the internet browsing. It works faster and also never cause of your slow PC booting.

We can get advanced Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1. This updated internet explorer gives much more than its previous versions. This advanced Internet explorer load page faster, enhanced pinned site notifications, and app settings allow you get your favorites, tabs and settings sync across all your Windows 8.1 PCs.

Direct Boot To Desktop
This option allows a user to skip the windows 8 tiles desktop and boot directly to the desktop like previous windows versions. You can set it default as per your choice. So if you don’t like the Windows 8 new tiled view, you can use this Boot to Desktop options and get back your normal desktop view.
There is many more good and improved feature we have in Windows 8.1. As this operating system is brand new and almost ready to hit the market, we will slowly come up with more improved and the latest features of Windows 8.1
